It's safe to say that computers are nearly everywhere in our society.
You find them in schools, cars, airports, shopping centers, toys,
medical devices, homes, and in many people's pockets. If you are
like most Americans, you interact with computers almost everyday,
sometimes without even knowing it. Whenever you buy something
with a credit card, you interact with a computer. And, of course,
most of us can't imagine our lives without email. If you don't yet
have a Home Computer and don't feel comfortable using one,
you still can't have escaped the impact of Technology: We're constantly
reminded of the way in which computers, the Internet and Technology
are Integral parts of our lives.
